Staying at a hotel should be relaxing. But it can feel difficult if you do not know what to say.

This guide will teach you the most useful hotel phrases. From checking in to checking out, you will be ready.

Booking a Room
حجز غرفة
You can book a room online, by phone, or at the front desk. Here are phrases for each situation.
يمكنك حجز غرفة عبر الإنترنت، بالهاتف، أو في مكتب الاستقبال. إليك عبارات لكل موقف.
You want to book a room
تريد حجز غرفة
I would like to book a room for two nights.
أريد حجز غرفة لليلتين.
Show tip
Change the number: 'one night', 'three nights', 'a week'.

Show tip
Single room = for one person. Double room = for two people.

Checking In
تسجيل الدخول
When you arrive, go to the front desk (reception). They will ask for your name and passport.
عندما تصل، اذهب إلى مكتب الاستقبال. سيطلبون اسمك وجواز سفرك.

During Your Stay

During your stay, you might need extra things or have questions. Do not be afraid to ask at reception.

Room Problems

Sometimes there is a problem with your room. Stay calm and explain the problem clearly.

The internet is not working

The wifi is not working in my room.

Something is broken

You can also say: 'The shower is broken', 'The TV is not working'.

Checking Out
تسجيل الخروج
When you leave the hotel, you go to reception and check out. They will give you the final bill. After that, you might need to order food or head to the airport.
عندما تغادر الفندق، تذهب إلى الاستقبال وتسجّل الخروج. سيعطونك الفاتورة النهائية.

Many hotels let you leave bags after checkout. Just ask politely.
