Find the mistake in this sentence:
She go to school every day.
هي تذهب إلى المدرسة كل يوم.

She goes to school every day.
هي تذهب إلى المدرسة كل يوم.
With he, she, or it in the present tense, add -s to the verb: go → goes.
مع he أو she أو it في المضارع، أضف s- للفعل: go → goes.
Find the mistake in this sentence:
I am student.
أنا طالب.

I am a student.
أنا طالب.
In English, you need 'a' or 'an' before a singular noun. Arabic does not use this.
في الإنجليزية، تحتاج 'a' أو 'an' قبل الاسم المفرد. العربية لا تستخدم هذا.
Find the mistake in this sentence:
He have a big house.
هو لديه بيت كبير.

هو لديه بيت كبير.
With he, she, or it, 'have' changes to 'has'.
مع he أو she أو it، كلمة 'have' تتغيّر إلى 'has'.
Find the mistake in this sentence:
I have car new.
لدي سيارة جديدة.

I have a new car.
لدي سيارة جديدة.
In English, the adjective comes before the noun: new car, not car new. Also, add 'a' before singular nouns.
في الإنجليزية، الصفة تأتي قبل الاسم: new car وليس car new. أيضًا، أضف 'a' قبل الاسم المفرد.
Find the mistake in this sentence:
She happy today.
هي سعيدة اليوم.

She is happy today.
هي سعيدة اليوم.
In English, you need the verb 'is' between the subject and the adjective. Arabic does not use it.
في الإنجليزية، تحتاج فعل 'is' بين الفاعل والصفة. العربية لا تستخدمه.
Find the mistake in this sentence:
They was tired yesterday.
هم كانوا متعبين أمس.

They were tired yesterday.
هم كانوا متعبين أمس.
'They' uses 'were', not 'was'. 'Was' is for I, he, she, it.
'They' تستخدم 'were' وليس 'was'. كلمة 'was' لـ I وhe وshe وit.
Find the mistake in this sentence:
I arrived to the airport at 3 pm.
وصلت إلى المطار الساعة ٣.

I arrived at the airport at 3 pm.
وصلت إلى المطار الساعة ٣.
In English, we say 'arrived at', not 'arrived to'. This is a common preposition mistake.
في الإنجليزية، نقول 'arrived at' وليس 'arrived to'. هذا خطأ شائع في حروف الجر.
Find the mistake in this sentence:
My brother, he is a doctor.
أخي، هو طبيب.

My brother is a doctor.
أخي طبيب.
In English, do not repeat the subject. 'My brother' is enough — you do not need 'he' after it.
في الإنجليزية، لا تكرّر الفاعل. 'My brother' كافية — لا تحتاج 'he' بعدها.

I don't have no money.
ليس لدي مال.

I don't have any money.
ليس لدي أي مال.
English does not use double negatives. Use 'any' instead of 'no' after 'don't'.
الإنجليزية لا تستخدم النفي المزدوج. استخدم 'any' بدلًا من 'no' بعد 'don't'.

She can to swim very well.
هي تستطيع السباحة جيدًا.

She can swim very well.
هي تستطيع السباحة جيدًا.
After 'can', use the base verb without 'to': can swim, can run, can speak.
بعد 'can'، استخدم الفعل الأساسي بدون 'to': can swim وcan run وcan speak.
